Mind

I struggle daily trying to make my mouth work like everyone else around me.  It’s as if there is a missing link that I cannot call on to make it happen.  I am trying more and more to get the words in my head to come out of my mouth.

Inside my mind

I often find

An empty space

That needs a trace

Of something I can’t

Quite put in words.

It’s like a hole,

Dark and deep,

Waiting for the light

To seep

Within.

Compassion

There are many things people have to deal with.  I deal with autism.  Some people are sick, lonely, depressed, homeless and hungry.  Everyone could use prayer.

There are people everywhere.

They could use a prayer.

Today.

Everyone has a need.

Take it to God with speed.

Bright Future

I am strong and mighty inside.  I want to express myself freely.

When you see

A tree

Think of me

Growing strong and tall.

When you see

the sun shining brightly

Think of me

Tough and mighty.

When you see

The water on the lake

Think of the future

I plan to make.

Me

Strong

Mighty
